An Evening of Jazz at LaNegrita Lounge

The Carpenter’s Kids Jam Sponsored by The Cathedral School
Those of us that were able to pop into LaNegrita on Friday night, June 12 to some great jazz, sensational vocals, and more than a few laughs. Music was fromThe Morningside Jazz Quartet, comprised of Kenny Wessel and Lee Welch on guitars,Joe Fitzgerald on bass, and Lou Grassi on drums. Laurel Masse, singer/recording artist, commanded the audience with her beautiful voice, and Cynthia Kaplan,author/comedienne was witty with her original comedic songs. Several CKAmbassadors came to show their support and catch up with one another. Thank you,Rev. Patty Welch (Chaplain of the Cathedral School) for organizing this entertaining evening.
